Memorable Visit To Kolisare

It was month of December, and we were excited to visit Kolisare. Its Kuladaivat for many Brahmin Families. The village is situated 50 Kms from Ratnagiri city, one can take ST from Ratnagiri depot to reach Kolisare or a private vehicle would be a plus
It takes around 1 Hour to reach, buses run empty all the time, on this route :)

After few minutes of drive from Kolisare phata (turn), comes Laxmi Keshav General stores (in the picture). you may get all the general items like Biscuits, Shampoo here
Just beside the store, you will find old bungalow type structure; its nothing but guest house for the people who want to stay overnight and do the Pooja and Abhishekam early in the morning. Its built by Marathe Guruji who lives behind the guest house.
This guest house is very cool at nominal rate of RS 50 per person per day with basic facilities.

Those who are afraid of staying here cause of wild animals or snakes, let me tell you not even an insect was there in room over night so its very safe !

After sound sleep at night, it was delightful morning :) we were ready to go to temple. Hot water facility is available :) which was sigh of relief for us as it was winter season. Finally reached beautiful temple around 8.30 am wow! what a surrounding and a perfect place for meditation ! Started the Pooja and Abhishekam followed by Mahaprasad, clicked some beautiful pics (How can we forget that :P)

During return journey, do not forget to visit Ganpatipule which is on the route (Ratnagiri-Kolisare)
